Research Summary
Dr. Chen previously held a K99/R00 grant from the National Eye Institute (NEI) and is currently supported by an R01 from the NEI as well as funding from the BrightFocus Foundation. Dr. Chen’s research focus is on the investigation of key signaling mechanisms in aging and/or degeneration of the retinal pigment epithelium.
