About the Stephenson Refractive Surgery Center

The Stephenson Refractive Surgery Center is the home to the Dean McGee Eye Institute’s (DMEI’s) refractive surgery practice specializing in LASIK surgery. The Stephenson Refractive Surgery Center is named after Charles and Peggy Stephenson who provided a donation in the mid-1990s that enabled DMEI to acquire an excimer laser and begin providing LASIK surgery.

Located on the first floor of the David W. Parke II, MD Pavilion at DMEI’s OHC location, the Stephenson Refractive Surgery Center is equipped to handle LASIK and other refractive surgeries with a personalized approach that includes separate scheduling and check-in. All steps of the refractive surgery process, from initial evaluation through to surgery and recovery, take place in the Stephenson Refractive Surgery Center for your convenience.
