Dean McGee receives $100K grant

The Dean McGee Eye Institute will upgrade and enhance its basic research capabilities, thanks to a $100,000 gift from The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation. The donation from the Ardmore-based Noble Foundation donation will help support the $3.6 million renovation and expansion of a 7,750-square-foot facility that is double the size of the prior facility. It also will let the institute and the University of Oklahoma Department of Ophthalmology more effectively conduct biomedical vision research funded by the National Institutes of Health, Research to Prevent Blindness and other agencies.
