Moreau joins eye institute

OKLAHOMA CITY – Annie Moreau, an oculoplastic surgeon, has joined the Dean McGee Eye Institute.

She has also been appointed as an assistant professor in the University of Oklahoma Department of Ophthalmology.

A native of Quebec, Canada, Moreau completed her optometric studies at the University of Montreal. She worked as an optometrist at the Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Moreau completed her internship in general surgery at the University of Oklahoma and a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute/University of Oklahoma.

For the past year, Moreau has served as an attending clinical ophthalmologist in the Boston VA Health System and as an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Boston University.

She will be seeing patients at the Dean McGee Eye Institute’s Oklahoma Health Center and Edmond locations. – Staff report
